Dad, Mom and I are beyond disappointed. We can't go meet the soldiers today because of the bad weather. Something woke Dad up at 3:30 this morning and it was sleeting. The news said the roads are "treacherous" meaning we have to stay home where it is safe. Dad and I had the biggest day planned. We were going to meet the soldiers this morning and then go read with the kids at a local elementary school at 1:00pm. At seven tonight we were supposed to go see the kids at the Ronald McDonald House in Fort Worth. All of that won't happen because it is supposed to get colder as the day goes by. Maggie (my sister) won't go outside to go to the bathroom and I'm in my bed with my big red bone. Mom said it's a great day if you are an eskimo or a polar bear.
Met you this morning at DFW and was hoping to find you on the interwebs. Hope to see your blog updated soon. Thanks for being there for our troops.
